If you're visiting my website, then there is a strong chance that you, or someone you know, may be looking for support. Perhaps you're feeling anxious or depressed, coping with stress, or managing relationship difficulties. It's normal to need someone to talk to when you're in a difficult spot, but it can often be hard to find people in our day to day lives who really have the time to sit down and listen.

As a psychotherapist, I offer private mental health services to those who are in need of someone to talk to. I endeavour to create a safe space so that you can feel comfortable exploring the challenges you're facing in life without judgement or criticism.

It’s normal to be worried about finding the right therapist for you. After all, you’re signing up to share your life story with someone, and trusting that they’ll be able to help with the challenges you’re facing. As someone who has seen many different therapists myself, I’ve gone through the frustration of spending ten sessions with someone only to discover that they didn’t know how to help me with my problem. I’ve also heard horror stories from my clients about some of their experiences in therapy, like having to spend 20 minutes every session filling out a form, and then having to wait for the therapist to evaluate it before even getting to talk about their week! It’s these experiences and insights that have influenced how I work with my clients. 

My Approach

My number one priority is to make sure that what we do works for you. I recognise that using only one therapeutic approach will be limiting for you, because you are a whole human being, not just a list of symptoms. I care about developing an approach that is specifically tailored to your needs.


Together we will:

  • Examine the 'big picture' of how your lifestyle is impacting your mental health, from your sleeping habits, to your diet, to the people you spend time with.

  • Come to a joint understanding about the exact nature of the problems you're facing.

  • Work together to come up with an approach to those challenges that works for you.

  • Continue to check in as our therapy progresses to make sure you're satisfied with the path we're taking.
